History of Farmhouse with riding school in Tuscany
Our farm is situated 450 metres above sea level on Pianacci Hill, overlooking the Valdinievole, in the municipality of Uzzano: an ancient, evocative medieval town dating back to the beginning of the 12th century.
The farm covers an area of around 7 hectares (over 20 acres) and our main cultivations are vineyards and olive groves. In 1995 we were awarded the “Colline dell'Ulivo”, a prize for the protection of the environment and landscape in the Valdinievole.
The rooms, furnished with rustic furniture , are finished with terracotta floors and ceilings with wooden beams . The stone walls were put in evidence , the doors and the window frames were made from chestnut wood seasoned and external portals were performed according to the traditional form " brakes " .
